The final version of Launcher Tools 0.4 has finally been released. The same 3 basic utilities are still included, but the Icon Adder has now grown into a fully object-oriented editor for the simpleui.rc file. SimpleUI Editor gives you a realistic model of the AsusLauncher that allows you to edit Tabs, Folders and Parcels (icons). The icon-set creator (previously called LaunchIcon) now known as Iconifier supports more image formats than before and now offers the ability to resize and reposition the icon within the templates.
Launcher Tools 0.4 also implements the new 3eInstaller wizard which makes installing 3epc-oriented software easier as well as an icon for uninstallation. Launcher Tools is released under the terms of the GNU GPLv3 and is designed to be used only on the default XandrOS Linux installation that comes on an Asus EeePC. Important Information & Updates
**Updated to 0.4.1 due to an obscure bug that occurs when trying to update the command line of an existing parcel using the "press enter to find command" feature. **Updated to 0.4.2 with a few bugfixes and a couple of new features including the new SimpleUI Restore Console. Anytime you can press CTRL-ALT-R to open the restore console which will let you revert to older copies of simpleui.rc. Very handy if you make some changes and find that you login to a black background instead of AsusLancher. **Updated to 0.4.3 New features include a Taskbar Trayicon, Run Dialog, Support for EeePC 900 series, replaced all bash based dialogs with zenity instead of kdialog (much faster now). **EeePC 1000/1000H users must select 900 series during installation. Also any user who's used Asus updates should also select 900 series, even if you've got a 700 series. This is because the updated 700 series AsusLauncher now uses the same settings as the 900 series software.
